Extra Details: At 5'9'', has a reach of 69 in. or 5.7 ft. Coupling this with a 30.4 in long Japanese tachi style zanpakuto, he is given a dangerous reach of 99.4 in. or 8.3 ft in battle.

.:Shinigami Abilities:.
Hohō (Step Method) is the name given to one of the four combat skills of the Shinigami and relates to footwork. Hohō is an important skill for most Shinigami, and is one of their four basic fighting styles.[1] The agility and speed of Hohō can be enhanced and improved through concentration, training, and mastery of it. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Onmitsukidō.

Senka- Moving behind the opponent, the practitioner attacks and seals their Saketsu (Chain Binding) and Hakusui (Soul Sleep) in two rapid attacks. A victim may not be able to tell whether they were attacked from the front or the back because of the technique's speed, and even an outside observer may find it impossible to tell what the movements are.

Utsusemi (Cicada) is an advanced Shunpo technique in which the practitioner moves at great speed to avoid an attack, leaving an afterimage which can appear to have taken damage.

Hakuda (White Hits) is a close-combat style of fighting, in which one is unarmed and uses only one's body, and is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. High-speed Taijutsu (Body Skill) attacks are used to overwhelm the opponent. Physical strength and skill is determined by this class. It seems to be a combination of several martial arts.

The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Executive Militia of the Onmitsukidō.

Zanjutsu (Swordsmanship)  is the fighting style for the Zanpakutō (i.e. sword fighting) and is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. It is shameful for a Shinigami to not master at least this technique.

Ryōdan (Bisection) is a kendō technique in which the user grasps his or her sword with both hands, and brings it down with enough force to cut an opponent in half down the middle.

Description: Despite it's name, this ability is a rather simple one. It allows the user to generate 'feathers' which hypnotize the user and often puts them in a state of confusion, and causes them to hallucinate. At times, the victim can hallucinate to the point of insanity or suicide. Normally however,the hallucinations are similar to tripping on LSD or some other hallucinate.
Strengths: Can cause serious confusion and can even lead to suicide.
Weaknesses: Can easily be broken by simple pain or even someone else breaking it from the outside. Often, this is achieved by the victim simply being awoken from the hallucination induced 'semi-sleep'.

Name: Akuma no Tsume (悪魔の爪 'Demon's Claws').
Rank/Class: Captain/Espada.
Type: Energy.
Description: This ability is a rather simple concept. The user generates claws or talons from the energy generated by their spiritual pressure, and swipes their sword across the air to fire the 'talons'.

With one swipe, four 'talons' are created and fired at the target. However, this attack is limited to only three swipes before the user must rest.
Strengths: Long range, multiple attacks which cause it to be harder to dodge.
Weaknesses: Can be dodged, can be stopped with the targets opposing energy, and can be destroyed with any elemental type attack.

Zanpaukto Name: Jūkinzoku Gokurakuchō (重金属極楽鳥  'Heavy Metal Paradise Bird' or 'Heavy Metal Rifle Bird').
Rleased Zanpakuto Appearance:

Information: This weapon is very unique in the combination of other weaon types used as models for the blade and usage.

The blade is a combination of and 18th century Indian Rajput Sosun Pattah, European Glaive, and Silver Eagle Claw Dagger. The blade itself measures 40 inches or 3.3 feet in length.

The handle is an interesting combination of the Spanish Machete, African Machete, and Ka-bur Utility Knife with the Ka-bur 'wrapping pattern' all along the handle. The handle alone measures 48 inches or 4 feet in length.

Combined together, the blade and handle measure 88 inches or 7.3 feet. The weapon also closes concealing the blade and making it easier to carry. When it's closed, it is opened by an Assisted Opening mechanism, making the opening process quick and simple, allowing for a battle ready stance in mere seconds.

A two-handed weapon,  Jūkinzoku Gokurakuchō is large and heavy, but is also powerful. Despite its size, Kirai can swing it like it was still sealed in its tachi form.

Description: The user creates a sound wave which is both painful to the victim and also can be heard by a special 'beast' that the user summons and is used to summon such 'beasts'. This ability momentarily paralyzes the victim and allows for the user to buy time in order for the summoned 'beasts' to appear.

The sound wave is achieved by the user swinging their sword in the air. The sound is generated through a special hole between the blade of their sword and the handle.
Strengths: Can travel long distances and cover larger areas.
Weaknesses: Does not work against deaf targets, can be drowned out by plugging/covering your ears.

Name: Jigoku no Shisha (地獄の 使者 'Messengers of Hell').
Rank/Class: Captain/Espada.
Type: Summon.
Description: The user summons red eyed, large crows or ravens from darkness, using Karasu no Ko ("Call of the Crow"). These scavangers are not just your average little crows. No, they're said to have been summon from the darkness of hell itself. Alone, they're only true abilities is to attack an enemy with their talons, beaks and wings. However, they've got a much more sinister purpose.

Strengths: They're strong against fire type attacks and zanpakuto.
Weaknesses: They can be destroyed by pretty much any means except for fire.

Name: Akuma Shisen (悪魔視線 'Devil Eyes').
Rank/Class: Captain/Espada.
Type: Illusion.
Description: This ability allows the summoned 'messengers' to create and illusion of hell, allowing the victim to see nothing but darkness, yet they can hear the screams and whispered pleas of those suffering. However, this move, as it progresses, creates the illusion of the victim plunging into hell's very depths, falling through each layer into their deaths.

The illusion becomes so real that many end their own lives in a wish to end their suffering as they can feel the heat of the flames lick at their falling bodies and the pains of every layer they fall through.
Strengths: The illusion generated by this ability is hard to break, and often ends in the death of the victim. This ability also has only a small number of weaknesses.
Weaknesses: The main flaw in this ability is that should the victim gain a sense of rationality and realize they're in an illusion, the illusion will shatter.

Secondly, the illusion can be broken by an outside force applying their spiritual pressure and running it through the victim's body, giving the ability no time to adjust to the incoming spiritual energy.

8. Seki (Repulse) Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.

26. Kyokko (Curved Light) Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
Incantation: Unknown.

63. Sajo Sabaku (Locking Bondage Stripes) Similar to Bakudō No. 4, but stronger, this spell binds the arms of a target.
Incantation: Unknown.

79. Kuyō Shibari (Nine Sunlight Traps) Creates eight black holes that emit spiritual energy in the personal space surrounding the target, with a ninth black hole manifesting in the center of the targets chest.
Incantation: Unknown.

81. Danku (Splitting Void) Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89. This is seen also when Aizen uses it to block Tessai's Hadō #88.
Incantation: Unknown; although Tessai hinted that it has an incantation when he fights Aizen.

1. Shō (Thrust) Pushes the target away from the caster.
Incantation: Unknown.

4. Byakurai (Pale Lightning) The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.
Incantation: Unknown.

11. Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound Lightning) Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through.
Incantation: Unknown.

31. Shakkahō (Red Fire Cannon) Fires a ball of red energy at a target.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!"

32. Ōkasen (Yellow Fire Flash) Fires a wide arc of yellow energy at a target.
Incantation: Unknown.

33. Sōkatsui (Blue Fire, Crash Down) Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."

54. Haien (Abolishing Flames) Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.

58. Tenran (Orchid Sky) A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.

63. Raikōhō (Thunder Roar Sear) Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.
Incantation: "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"

73. Sōren Sōkatsui (Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down) Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens."

90. Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin) Envelops the target with a powerful torrent of gravity that takes the form of a box of black energy, covered in several spear-like protrusions. The spears then pierce the box, lacerating the one inside from head to toe.
Incantation: "Seeping crest of turbidity, arrogant vessel of lunacy. Boil forth and deny, grow numb and flicker, disrupting sleep. Crawling queen of iron, eternally self-destructing doll of mud. Unite, repulse. Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness."

.:Hollow Abilities:.
Bala- The technique hardens the user's spiritual pressure and fires it like a bullet from their fist. Though weaker than a cero blast, it moves about twenty times faster.

Cero- High-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various body parts, such as mouth, tongue, hand or fingers.

Garganta- It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway

Hierro- Hardened skin caused by the compression of spirit power. This allows Arrancar to block released Zanpakuto bare-handed, but is not impenetrable. Stronger Arrancar possess stronger skin.

Negacion- A field that surrounds a target and pulls them towards the caster. This is often used to rescue or protect fellow Hollow.

Pesquisa- The ability to sense and track spiritual power.

Sonido- Allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds for short distances, similar to flash step.

.:Cero:.
Cero Billar (Cero Billiards)- When formed from the finger tips or any body part for that matter, the cero is condensed into a tiny ball which is shot forward. The ball separates into several miniature balls that shoot out like a beam. They have the ability to inflict severe burns and cuts. However, its half the power of the fully condensed cero.

Cero Doble- is a type of Cero where the user absorbs the other cero through their mouth and fires it back with their own cero mixed in.

Cero Sincrético- Two users form ceros and form them into a fused ball that has a high power, but is very draining on both users.


Gran Rey Cero- This cero is only available to the espada, after cutting the area where the user launches their cero, it spins like a razor compressing and decompressing. This cero is also able to rip the fabric of space.

.:A little Deeper:.
Personality: Kirai is not someone you want to tangle with. He can be dark and charming, cold and cool, calm- anything he wants to be at a moment's notice. Yet he has a deep temper, one not to be trifled with nor ignored.

Kirai is the sort who has this thing with knowing what he wants and getting it. Making his way to the top ranks in his old life and now knocked down to the life he's in, he figures he'll climb his way back up, collecting all that he sets his sights on along the way.

However, don't think for a moment that you can take what he decides is his away. It's a quick way to end up dead.....and once he claims you, don't bother trying to get away. As the saying goes 'Finders Keepers'...and for Kirai, that doesn't matter if they're living or an item.

He's dangerous, and had they known just how dangerous their bringing him back was...they probably would't have.....

Back-story: Originally born an Espada, Kirai was ranked number 4. He, like many of the Espada before his time, had fallen in combat. Nearing his death, he was captured by the Soul Society and taken back to the Department of Research and Development. There, Kirai was poked, prodded and his privacy invaded more times than he would ever like to remember.

He was the first of a secret research project. Project Kamen or MASK as it had so been cleverly dubbed, was a brainchild of Mayuri Kurotsuchi who wished to take his previous research of the Arrancar and Espada into a new direction. Project MASK took fallen Espada and Arrancar and reshaped them, molding them into half Soul Reaper, half Arrancar/Espada Mod-souls who would become the supposed step towards understanding not only Vizards, but the development of Espada and how well they could adapt.

After losing nearly all of his memories of his previous life as an Espada, and his name being changed, Kirai escaped, fleeing the Soul society and hiding among the humans. However, during his time there, he was found and captured by Kisuke Urahara. Urahara, being the eccentric man that he is, decided to keep Kirai with him to help out around the shop and fight hollows who no one else noticed quickly enough. He also sort of adopted Kirai, but more to the point, Kirai is Urahara's 'prisoner' of sorts. He has some freedoms, but will be met with Urahara's dark sense of punishment should he over-step his limits of said freedoms.

Regardless of his freedoms or lack of, Kirai has adjusted to his new life with Urahara and, despite his determination to never say it aloud, has grown fond of the eccentric old man and his silliness. Kirai doesn't think he could ever go back to Soul Society and is secretly terrified of having to ever set foot on Squad 12 grounds ever again.
